City of Contrast & Diversity
Contrast and Diversity is a new tagline for the City of Kuala Lumpur.
The theme was chosen based on the Contrasting nature of the city which is surrounded by old and modern buildings whereas Diversity is due to the fact that Kuala Lumpur is a unique city where various races live in peace and harmony while preserving their traditional cultures, beliefs and cuisines.

Meet and Greet at the entrance of Central Market
We shall be visiting the various locations within Old Kuala Lumpur to explore the cultural and history aspects of the key races namely the Malays, Chinese and Indians besides exploring and understanding the history behind the key landmarks and attractions along the route. We shall end our walk with a banana leaf lunch.
Key attractions to visit are Kampung Baru, Sin Sze Si Ya Taoist Temple, Chinatown, Chan She Syu Yuen Clan Temple, Devil’s Lane, Sri Maha Mariamman Hindu Temple, old Little India and Colonial area.
Walking and partly using the train system to reach destination. Please wear comfortable shoes and attire. You may consider bringing along a cap/hat.
